Flooring

Hard-wearing surfaces for everyday life, from living room to garden.

Every floor is tested for abrasion, water absorption and slip resistance before it leaves the factory. We publish those figures on each product page so architects and homeowners can compare at a glance, whether for an apartment, a hotel or a public building.

Useful information

Porcelain tiles absorb less than 0.5% water, resist impact and never fade, so they work in kitchens, bathrooms and porches. Outdoors, choose an R11 slip-resistant finish, and 20 mm thickness when laying on gravel or pedestals.

Formats of 120 × 120 cm and larger reduce grout lines, making rooms feel bigger and easier to clean. Large slabs need a substrate flat to within 2 mm over 2 m and a two-component tile adhesive.

Engineered wood feels warm underfoot; laminate and vinyl are cost-effective for quick renovations. Our showroom advisers can calculate quantities and wastage from your drawings.
